(15.03.2018) On Thursday 15 March 2018, the members of the European Parliamentary Association gathered at the Villa Schutzenberger to hold their annual general assembly.
Almost 40 of our members took the opportunity to officially appoint three new Vice-presidents to the Association’s board: Inese Vaidere from Latvia, Jørn Dohrmann from Denmark and Ulrike Müller from Germany will from now on contribute with their work and experience. Furthermore, members looked back at the initiatives that have been taken throughout the last term and agreed on the program for 2018.
In the months to come, our members will be invited to:
- a breakfast debate within the initiative of the „Days of Bulgaria“ with a guest speaker from the country, which is holding the presidency of the Council of the European Union;
- an exclusive boat trip from the European Parliament to the Rohan Palace, followed by a reception given by the city of Strasbourg;
- our Garden party, which will traditionally take place before the Parliament’s summer break in July.
